Resolutions or Not? FortuneKeeper Has A Suggestion

So here we are just a few days away from another “fresh start”, which of course is January 1, 2015. Many of us craft our resolution(s) list while others dismiss it as another list destined to fail. Sure, we have all made resolutions that have not quite turned out as we had hoped, but we love the notion of a new year and the hope a new year brings.
Maybe every month can be seen as an opportunity to create our resolution list, even every day can be seen as a new start, but there is something magical about closing out the old and ringing in the new! It is hope and change that sparks so many of us to put together our list. It’s almost mandatory! We are all part of the resolution club and if we could just take the pressure off and do our best then maybe we can achieve a few.
Consider this – the act of writing down a few things that we would like to change gives us a sense of awareness. Think of it as a great opportunity to just review what might make our lives a bit more manageable in 2015. Resolutions do not have to be burdens. They can be energizing. They can be fun, at least if you want them to be. They can even be a single word. We asked our friends what one word would best reflect a 2015 resolution and here are our top 10 – Acceptance, Humility, Charity, Determination, Gratitude, Resolve, Kindness, Fun, Humor, Strength.
Are you in? Here at FortuneKeeper we are! For us, it’s another year to strive for a goal or two. We took our fortunes out of our FortuneKeepers and we all put in a resolution. Who knows what will happen. There are no guarantees, but we are excited that a new year is upon us. May 2015 be a great year for you!
